Harvest was developed to connect caring
sponsors with field workers dedicated to assisting
pastors in starting a vibrant EE ministry of evangelism
and discipleship training in their local churches.
EE is a grassroots training organization whose
sole purpose is to glorify God by equipping Christians
to multiply in and through local churches worldwide.
EE is helping pastors and their church members
reach
every person in the world with the Gospel of Jesus
Christ by equipping Christians in every people
group and every age group to witness to every person.
While EE is a worldwide ministry operating in every
nation, it is not yet in use within every people
group. The goal of EE is to reach every nation,
tribe and tongue and this can best be accomplished
by utilizing field workers to labor in the harvest
fields.
Operation Harvest Field Workers are the catalyst for EE implementation in local churches. They will set the example by conducting at least one EE training session per year in their local church, they will assist current EE churches continue to implement and improve their EE Discipleship Ministry, they will provide assistance to newly trained pastors as they implement EE in their churches, and they will encourage leaders that have been trained but never implemented EE begin the implementation process. In addition, they will work with churches that have discontinued their EE ministry so that they will once again become a vibrant EE church.
The OH Field Worker will be responsible for the EE training conducted in their region. He will schedule and conduct EE Leadership Clinics, recruit pastors and lay leaders to attend the clinics, and offer seminars or workshops that address Follow-up, EE Vision, Leadership and EE Refresher Seminars, etc. And of course the Field Worker will always be trying to break new ground. Strategy development will include reaching new pastors, churches, denominations, towns, regions, languages and people groups.
The Operation Harvest Sponsor is someone like you who has a burden for reaching the world with the Gospel and is willing to personally invest in the life of a field worker. Because Operation Harvest field workers are local nationals of third world countries they have no viable means of raising support. Your monthly gifts will help to meet the personal and ministry financial needs of your field worker and allow him to serve full-time in the field.
